Binance signed a cooperation agreement with the City of Busan in South Korea.

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has signed a cooperation agreement with the South Korean city of Busan to develop the city’s blockchain ecosystem and facilitate the launch of a local digital asset exchange.

As part of the partnership, Binance will provide the city with technology and infrastructure. It will also launch a blockchain education program that includes online content and a Binance Academy internship course in partnership with universities in Busan. Another element of cooperation will be Binance’s investment in business projects, as well as charitable assistance from Binance Charity.

Binance also plans to open a representative office in Busan this year.
