Forbes research showed that almost 30% of the richest people in the world invest in crypto-assets

A Forbes survey of 65 of the world’s richest people found that nearly 30 % of billionaires invest directly or indirectly in cryptocurrencies.

3.2 % of respondents said they invested more than half of their fortune in cryptocurrency, while 18 % reported investing at least 1% of their money.

Another 10 % said they had not invested directly, but had invested in cryptocurrency-related companies. And 80 % of those with digital assets have invested at least 10 % of their wealth.

A growing number of billionaires are starting to look at cryptocurrencies. In 2019, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stated that he “would prefer bananas to bitcoin.” But his opinion has since changed dramatically, and he has assembled a portfolio of bitcoins, Ethereum, various NFTs and other cryptocurrencies. Also, the billionaire is among the fans of the meme token Dogecoin.  Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks basketball club began selling tickets to its own games for DOGE in March 2021.
