Popular stablecoin Tether USD reached a new historical maximum. Its market capitalization exceeded $83.2 billion. The previous record capitalization of the asset was fixed in May 2022.

Since the beginning of this year, the market capitalization of USDT has increased by about 20%. The asset continues to dominate the stablcoin space.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoinho noted that the company will continue to develop “a strong, sustainable and powerful financial, communications and energy ecosystem.”
